A MAN has been arrested in Benidorm for killing his female partner with a knife.
The EFE agency reports that the incident is being investigated as an alleged domestic case.
In a message on the social network X, the Government Delegation against Gender Violence has said that it is collecting information on the murder which it described as ‘sexist violence against a woman in Alicante province’.

The detained man is said to be the woman’s partner and the assault is said to have happened late on Sunday or in the early hours of Monday, but information is so far very limited.
Sources close to the investigation told EFE that in addition to the alleged murderer, other people have also been arrested as accessories after the fact.
Details of where the stabbing happened have not been disclosed, or the ages or nationalities of the couple.
