THIS is the moment a tornado was spotted landing on the Costa Blanca on Monday.
Video shared on X shows the weather phenomenon travelling through the town of Benilloba in Alicante.
It came as much of the area was on a weather alert for storms and rain, with dozens of warnings still in place today.

The footage was captured by X user Nacho Espinos at around 2.40pm.
In the post he said the tornado touched ground east of the Port of Benifallim.
It came just days after a tornado struck in Avila on Friday.

In that incident, the small town was left without electricity for several hours while some trees were knocked down.
Large swathes of eastern Spain remain on yellow and orange alerts for rainfall and storms today, including Mallorca and Ibiza.
